JoEllen Ross-Hauer, M.S., RPA, SAH

Ms. Ross-Hauer has been active in cultural resources management since 1993. She specializes in Architectural History and Archaeology. She has participated and lead in several architectural and archaeological projects. She has documented architectural resources in urban settings, mining landscapes, maritime settings, and in ranching landscapes. Ms. Ross-Hauer earned her Master’s of Science in Land Use Planning with an emphasis on historic preservation. Her thesis research focused on identifying shifts in architectural styles of pre- and post-war housing.  Ms. Ross-Hauer recently completed a National Register Nomination for the historic Payette Lake Inn in McCall Idaho, and a Historic Structures Report for the Administration Building on the Nevada State Prison Campus in Carson City, Nevada. She is skilled at all phases of cultural resources management and has successfully managed numerous projects. She has formalized Section 106 training and meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for  architectural history.

 

A. Craig Hauer, M.A., RPA

Mr. Hauer has worked for several private cultural resource firms since 1995 and has participated in projects throughout the intermountain west. Since 2008, Mr. Hauer has directed cultural resources groups for multiple companies operating in Nevada, Utah, and California. In this role, Mr. Hauer has managed all aspects of archaeological projects and contributed to Section 106 and NEPA efforts on a local, state, and regional basis. Mr. Hauer has led cultural resource inventory and data recovery projects in Idaho, Nevada, California, Arizona, Alaska, and Louisiana; and participated in fieldwork throughout the west. In addition, Mr. Hauer has dealt with, and has had formalized training in the regulations guiding cultural resource management. During his career, Mr. Hauer has interacted with numerous clients and agencies, created and managed project budgets, acquired new work, and managed the GIS department.
